Prahladpur Pillar, obtained from the Prahladpur village in Ghazipur (Uttar Pradesh), is a sand stone monolithic structure belonging to the period of 6th century. It measures about 9.15 Mtr in height. The column bears several inscriptions in shell characters, the earliest of which dates back to the Gupta period.
The pillar is now installed in the Sanskrit College campus at Varanasi.
