Victory of Lord Ram over the Demon King Ravan (Ravan Vadh) from great epic Ramayana was reenacted at Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW) ground to celebrate Dussehra festival in Varanasi on October 3, 2014. Lord Rama shot a decisive arrow as effigies of Ravan, his brother Kumbhakarn and his son Meghnath were consigned into flames amid thunderous applauds and laud cheers from thousands of people who gathered in the ground to celebrate the Dussehra festival.
