Vishwakarma Pooja
Vishwakarma pooja is celebrated to worship Vishwakarma, a hindu god. Vishwakarma was a divine architect and he constructed holy city dwarka Lord Krishna ruled, maya sabha of pandvas and many holy weapons of god and other things related to god. He is also called divine carpenter as mentioned in Rig Veda. This festival is celebrated on 16 or 17 september each year. It is celebrated in factories, industries and iron shops. On this day pooja and other rituals are performed.
