Rathyatra Mela

The Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath on the traditional chariot on Wednesday commenced in the city under heavy security deployment.
Amidst traditional gaiety the devotees took out a procession with the idols of Lord Jagnnath, Subhadra and Balbhadra from the Jagnnath temple in Assi area. After passing through Durgakund, Khojwa and Shankudhara areas, the procession culminated at Rathyatra crossing where the idols were placed on the beautifully decorated traditional chariot, after religious rituals.
The three-day fair, held annually as a part of Rathyatra festival , in Varanasi City.

Kedar Ghat

Kedareshwar of Kasi is said to be equivalent to the Kedareshwar of Himalayas.

The Kasi Kedara mahatmya tells that Lord Kedareshwar kept his fifteen kalas in Kashi and he is in Kedareshwar only with his sixteenth kala.

Kedareshwara appeared in Kashi from the food made up of Green gram, kept as Naivedya to him, by the king Mandhata.

The Kedareshwar Temple is present at Kedar ghat.

Tulsi Manas Temple

Tulsi Manas temple is one of the most famous temples of Varanasi. It is also an important tourist attraction of the holy city. The Tulsi Manas temple is located near the famous Durga temple. It was built in white marble in the year 1964. The temple has been made more charming by the magnificent landscaping around it. The Tulsi Manas temple is dedicated to lord Ram. It is believed to be built at the same place where Tulsidas wrote the famous Indian epic, Ram Charita Manasa. The walls of the Tulsi Manas temple are engraved with verses and scenes from the Ram Charita Manasa, the Hindi version of the Ramayana. 

Anand Bagh Park

Anand Bagh Park is Located Behind Durga Kund, Varanasi

Anand park is basically a well pruned and preserved area of land meant for people to come and relax, enjoy and spend some time away from the routine of their homes and work.

In the mornings, in Anand park children come with their parents or elders for walks, exercises and jogging, while, in the evening time they are again there for playing and having a good time after a heavy school routine. 

The exuberance and enthusiasm here, cannot be easily found anywhere else - for, the young come here to enjoy and the elders with them come to see them enjoy - Oh what an amalgamation of a varied enjoyment here.

The fresh air mixed with the sound of the chattering of young minds is such a lovely intoxicant for any elder to enjoy. A children's park gives an onlooker the impression of complete and absolute happiness prevailing in the atmosphere and environment.

Bharat Kala Bhawan

Bharat Kala Bhavan, is located in the campus of Banaras Hindu University.Bharat Kala Bhavan is  a roomy museum with a wonderful collection of miniature paintings, as well as 12th-century palm-leaf manuscripts, sculptures and local history displays.Bharat Kala Parishad was established in 1920 AD and became the propriety of BHU in 1950, when the collection was transferred to University campus and the present building was inaugurated on 31st Jan. 1962. It has a rare collection of precious artifacts, number of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures, pictures, manuscripts, Mughal miniatures, paintings, brocade textiles, contemporary art form & bronze statues from 1st-15th century, which are of great archaeological importance. Other objects of visitor's interest are pottery, mental craft, ivory goods, jewellery, terracotta beads & rare collection of Gujarati, Rajasthani & Pahari miniature paintings. 
Museum displays India's heritage and preserves the past. It has different sections in the form of gallaries, viz., Mahamana Malviya Gallary, Nicholas Roerich Gallary, Chhavi Gallery, Sculpture Gallery, Nidhi Gallery, Archaeological Gallery, and Decorative Art Gallery. Museum is small but well maintained and gives an overview of ancient city of Varanasi. 

Ganga Mahal Ghat

Ganga Mahal Ghat which, in fact, is an old part of Yameshwar Ghat. King of Gwalior had built it in early 19th century and later on repaired and rebuilt by Govinda Bali Kiratankara.
